To create endless outfits, each piece in a capsule wardrobe should match every other piece.
The ideal capsule wardrobe would consist of between 10 and 30 pieces.
But, for this article, I thought I’d put up a small tiny capsule wardrobe for spring, consisting of just six crucial pieces that can be combined to create a variety of outfits throughout the season.
Cardigan
A cardigan isn’t frequently seen as part of a spring capsule wardrobe, but it’s a must-have for me.
It’s the ideal layering piece for those times when the weather is a little bit unpredictable, and it can be worn in a variety of outfits.
At this time of year, I think a beige, stone, or camel cardigan is perfect.
It complements white beautifully. White jeans, a white top, and a pair of shoes. It would also be wonderful to add a bag in a matching color.
Another alternative is to pair it with dark denim and a white shirt instead of white jeans. Alternatively, instead of a white shirt, consider a cami top or a t-shirt. It may be a smidgeon less bulky and a smidgeon more comfortable.
We don’t have to abandon our dark colors just because it’s spring. We’re still allowed to wear in black. With all black underneath, a stone cardigan looks stunning. Alternatively, you can break up the color block by pairing it with a white top.
Other top alternatives include wearing a striped top with it or combining it with a top of the same or very similar hue.
With grey, this colorful cardigan looks stunning. Grey jeans, a white top, and a bag in a similar tone to the cardigan make a great combo. It’s a fantastic combination.
It looks fantastic if you wear a cardigan with a reasonable length over a dress. This is a fantastic alternative if it’s too hot to wear jeans but you need some arm coverage. To keep the cardigan from being too bulky, a more fitting dress would be best.
The long line cardigan is a great addition to any spring capsule wardrobe.
White Jeans
There’s no better time than spring to wear a pair of white or off-white jeans.
Denim can be uncomfortable in the summer, but it’s much more wearable in the spring. There are so many various ways to dress them.
White jeans are a versatile piece in the spring capsule wardrobe because they can be worn with all of the other spring classics.
For a spring style, pair them with a white cami and a light trench coat. With trainers or shoes, you may dress it up or down.
Wear them with a striped top and a spring blazer. They’re two pieces that I’m wearing in my spring capsule wardrobe.
The style can then be changed simply by changing the bag you wear with it. Structured bags tend to smarten up the style, while a crossbody bag makes the ensemble a little more practical and casual. You could also use a tote bag instead of a crossbody bag. It’s still another lovely choice.
To break up the color scheme, wear the striped top with a black top and a tan bag. Alternatively, go all black on top and carry a black bag.
It isn’t necessary for it to be black. If you need a pop of color, there are plenty of lovely colored blazers to choose from. It might be completely red, blue, yellow, or any color you like on top.
However, if you want to create a capture wardrobe, make sure that all of the pieces can be mixed and matched.
If you’re comfortable wearing white jeans, they’re another great addition to a capture wardrobe.
White Blazer
At any time of year, I love a blazer, but in the spring, I can’t live without one.
There are so many great ways to wear and style them, whether for a dressier or more casual look.
Because it’s spring, I believe a white blazer looks really good, and it goes with everything else in a capsule wardrobe.
It goes well with blue or black jeans and looks fantastic with a white shirt or t-shirt. Even a striped t-shirt will suffice.
It looks well with a striped, gingham, or polka dot pattern. There are numerous possibilities to experiment with.
It also looks great with any style of printed skirt. It’s another alternative for an outfit. It can be dressed down by wearing it with all black underneath, wide-leg trousers, and flats.
In fact, any color of trouser will suffice.
If you need something a little thicker or smarter, the white blazer can also be worn like a cardigan and worn over a dress.
If you have a lightweight blazer in your spring capsule wardrobe, it may be worn in a variety of ways, regardless of hue.
White Shirt
In my opinion, a white shirt is a must-have in a spring capsule wardrobe because it can be used to create a variety of sophisticated outfits.
At this time of year, linen is always a good choice. If you have one of them in your closet, you’ll get a lot of use out of it.
Pair the white shirt with blue jeans for a very simple, unfussy, and fail-safe style. It’s a look that will never go out of style.
If you don’t want to wear jeans, a pair of relaxed pants will suffice.
Try it with loafers if you have some black trousers, which are perfect for a spring capsule wardrobe. Alternatively, as the weather warms up, try sandals. The shirt might then be tied in a knot for a more casual look.
Alternatively, beige trousers, rather than black, might be a great addition to a capsule wardrobe. The white shirt also looks great with these, or even with neutral shorts.
Of course, the shirt also looks great with skirts. A pattern skirt can be included in a capsule wardrobe if it can be worn with all of the other capsule pieces. Plain skirts are the same. It can also be used as a beach cover-up if you want to get more use out of it.
Trench Coat
A trench coat is frequently included in any spring capsule wardrobe list.
It’s a classic piece of outerwear that has stood the test of time. It’s extremely light and utilitarian, making it the ideal piece for a spring capsule wardrobe.
Trench coats are now available in a variety of hues. A classic beige trench coat, on the other hand, will always be a classic.
If you have white shirts, blue jeans, and white jeans or black jeans in your spring capsule wardrobe, they go well with them.
They go with stripes, dresses, and a variety of shoes. There are a plethora of outfits to choose from.
Two-tone Shoes
I wanted to add a pair of shoes in this spring capsule wardrobe, but I couldn’t decide between three. There are several trainers, loafers, and two-tone shoes.
I wear all three, and all three pairs of shoes combine well to create a variety of outfits, but the two-tone shoes are the ones I go for the most.
They go with anything, even if you have other pieces in your capsule wardrobe. They look well with white, blue, and black jeans. They look well with trench coats and with a white, black, or cream jacket as part of an outfit.
They look great with a solid-colored dress. They can be used in a variety of ways. I like to pair mine with blue jeans, black jeans, and cream or white jeans.
I can combine them with various pieces of outerwear, blouses, and tops.
They’re not as high as trainers and loafers, so they’re really easy to walk in.
That’s why, rather than the previous two, I decided to include these in my little capsule wardrobe.
Each person’s spring capsule wardrobe is distinct. It all relies on your lifestyle as well as the climate and temperature in your area.
They’re the six essential pieces in my mini spring capsule wardrobe.
