This is the vintage leather bomber fashioned with details of the jacket worn by Pete “Maverick” Mitchell in the iconic movie Top Gun.

Made by Cockpit USA, the current supplier of leather jackets to the Air Force, the jacket has 11 patches found on the original.

It is made from hand tanned lambskin that is hand-cut, sewn, and designed to gently age like a battle-tested jacket as you wear it.

The jacket has the iconic mouton collar and small details such as wool and nylon cuffs and waistband that were hallmarks of Maverick’s coat.

With a satin smooth lining inspired by “escape maps” pilots used during WWII.
