I enjoy writing these articles because they allow me to give you a head start on a new fashion season.
I’ve compiled a list of the ten most wearable summer fashion trends in this article.
Fashion should be enjoyable, but it should also be functional, which is where wearable comes in.
Continue reading if you want to learn about this year’s most wearable fashion trends for summer.
Pencil Skirts
Pencil skirts are the first wearable summer trend that I can’t seem to get enough of.
Think about a basic pencil skirt in a different light than a corporate cut pencil skirt.
New pencil skirts have a more relaxed casual feel to them, and some even have a knit fabric. It’s definitely more of a street style vibe for casual activity wear and leisure wear.
What you’re wearing with these new relaxed pencil skirts gives them a bit of a modern edge.
You aren’t wearing them in a professional capacity. You’re wearing them on in a more relaxed manner.
Tucking in a small t-shirt or tying a t-shirt at the waist and wearing them with a pair of shoes or some modern new season slides.
The most popular wearable trend for summer is likely to be these really nice relaxed pencil skirts.
White Tank
Before you start fighting with me that white tanks aren’t a trend, consider this: when high-end designers start wearing them down the runway at fashion shows, they almost become one.
These white tanks have become more of a trend than a wardrobe staple, but they are still a great staple piece that can be worn with almost anything.
They’re fantastic for layering, and they’re also great to wear on your own if you don’t mind showing your arms.
A simple white tank will give you a plethora of clothing alternatives while also providing you with a clean, fresh foundation layer.
Maxi Dresses
I’m extremely enthusiastic about this one because knit maxi dresses aren’t typically thought of as summer essentials.
However, these great knit maxis that I keep seeing are a really relaxed, yet lovely summer choice.
I like that maxis just provide a little amount of coverage, but these gorgeous lightweight knits that are maxis just seem to be a great summer alternative.
I can see myself wearing them with a denim shirt tied around my waist to give them some shape, or with one of my bright colorful shirts tied around my waist to give it some shape.
These gorgeous knitted maxis are the dress of the season, in my opinion.
Shirts in Vibrant Colors
Personally, I can’t get enough of bright, vibrant shirts, and they’re a trend that’s only growing in popularity.
If you haven’t yet dipped your toe into the trend of grabbing a bright shirt, now is the time.
These vibrant, boldly colored shirts aren’t going away anytime soon.
I use mine to add a brilliant flash of color to a more classic garment, as well as to give my shirt dress a little more shape.
If you want to add a splash of color to your outfit, try one of these vibrant, boldly colored shirts.
In fact, I recently placed an order for a hot pink one and can’t wait to wear it on. I can’t seem to get enough of these bright shirts.
Baggy Jeans
The most popular denim trend for summer is the baggy jean, which is similar to a boyfriend jean.
I’m sure this will spark some discussion because many of you believe this isn’t a wearable look.
It can be worn; all you have to do is make sure your proportions are correct.
If you’re wearing or choosing a little baggy denim or pant, go for a more form-fitting top.
Obviously, it doesn’t have to be tight, but a pair of slightly oversized baggy jeans looks amazing with a plain white tank or t-shirt worn into your bra for a cropped effect.
These somewhat baggy jeans are a terrific way to add a casual street style element to your summer ensembles.
Of course, you won’t be wearing these baggy jeans if you live in Florida, but if you live somewhere where you can wear pants in the summer, then these baggy jeans are the way to go.
They’re definitely more comfortable than wearing skinnies.
Colored Suiting
The comeback of colored suiting is the next trend.
I know that suiting conjures up images of corporate wear and highly fitted items, but this season’s colored suiting comes in a rainbow of vibrant, bold colors.
I’m all about the colored pieces, and simply adding a great vibrant blazer to an outfit will offer a little something special. Also, just have some fun with your outfits.
If you’re feeling very bold, you might wear your suiting from top to toe and go all out with the monochrome style, which is always flattering.
Consider these lovely, vivid suited items, which are also more relaxed and definitely more buttoned down and paired back than what you may expect from suiting.
Slides
The slide needs to be the summer shoe. This summer’s slides are all about giving us a little boost.
It doesn’t matter if it’s a platform slide or a chunky slide.
Slides come in a variety of styles, including braided, puffy, and more.
Slides, on the other hand, are the shoe of the season. They are incredibly simple to wear on. Everyone will find something to their liking.
You’ll have a trendy and comfy look if you choose the proper slide.
Baseball Caps
Baseball caps, on the other hand, do not appear to be going away anytime soon.
They’re worn with a casual street style ensemble.
I’m seeing a lot of logos on baseball caps again. We saw a lot of baseball caps in outfits last season, but they were mostly plain, with a splash of color here and there. However, it appears that logos are making a comeback this season.
I understand that this will divide some of you since I understand that not everyone is a lover of logos, but baseball caps are the hat of the season.
In addition, bucket hats are really popular this summer.
A logo baseball cap, on the other hand, is the one hat to wear all summer.
Arm Parties
This one is particularly intriguing because arm parties are making a comeback.
They’re essentially just arms layered with a variety of bangles. A trendy accessory look for summer is large and multiple bangles worn together.
I believe that accessories are undervalued, and that if you don’t want to spend a lot of money on a new season clothing, then adding a few important accessories is a smart way to update your style without spending a lot of money.
Net
This final trend will undoubtedly divide you. Knitting fabric is making a comeback, especially in poolside cover-ups, but it’s also making its way into streetwear.
Don’t be afraid to experiment with this since you can definitely wear a lovely little cami or a tank underneath some of these knitted things.
They’re ideal since they give a layer of protection. They do, however, keep you cool.
So, if you believe net is difficult to wear or excessively exposed, reconsider. There are a variety of ways to wear it that make it really versatile and allow you to put together a beautiful summer outfit and appearance without sweating.
Netting isn’t to be overlooked; there are some stunning items available.
