Miss Sohee’s Spring/Summer 2025 Haute Couture collection, titled “Pearly Couture,” was a stunning showcase held during Paris Couture Week.
The collection, designed by Sohee Park, was presented at the grand 18th-century Hôtel Pozzo di Borgo, the former home of Karl Lagerfeld.
The collection reimagines femininity through a daring lens, blending traditional Korean craftsmanship with modern haute couture techniques.
The designs feature bold silhouettes, voluminous skirts, and intricate details such as peony and wisteria embroidery, najeonchilgi (mother-of-pearl inlay), and Swarovski crystals. The color palette includes soft pastels, chic blush tones, and bold jet-black accents.
One standout piece is a *knotted pink satin column gown with a towering fan-like panel framing the torso, while a lilac taffeta skirt trails behind with theatrical grandeur. Another notable look is a black lace catsuit with a croc-embossed leather lace-up corset, worn by model Coco Rocha.
The collection celebrates both modesty and seduction, with an emphasis on craftsmanship and cultural heritage. It’s a beautiful blend of traditional and contemporary elements, making it a true testament to haute couture artistry.
