4 Shoes All Men Need (Good For Any Scenario)

shoes all men need

In this article I’m going to be talking about four shoes all men need.

I know from personal experience that putting together a wardrobe is difficult. It’s equally difficult for men and women.

Walking inside your closet and realizing you have nothing to wear is the worst feeling in the world. This happens to me far more frequently than I’d like to admit.

I went through a period where I didn’t buy things that could be worn in multiple ways.

Some of the best advise I can give you is to buy versatile items, which is why I’m going to go over four shoes that every guy needs.

These are just going to make your life easier when it comes to getting dressed and organizing your outfits.

These are just easy-to-wear, timeless pieces that will go with any ensemble. You’re never going to finish your outfit just to look down and ponder what shoes to put on.

You’ll probably be fine if you have these four pairs of shoes.

White Sneaker

The first item on my list is a white sneaker.

The most versatile shoe you can own is a white sneaker.

A white sneaker is casual, but it may also be dressed up a little more than a standard athletic sneaker.

It’s truly a fantastic alternative to athletic sneakers. So you’re not wearing your athletic footwear with your denim.

I believe it can work if you have a distinct style, perhaps more on the street style side. But not if you’re just wearing bootcut jeans and a pair of athletic sneakers. Instead, go for the white sneaker.

I would suggest purchasing a simple plain white sneaker. It’ll simply be the most versatile for you.

I’ve discovered that getting a white sneaker with a splash of color on it can limit the outfits you can wear it with. You’ll get more use out of that plain white if you just go for it.

I understand how difficult it is to keep these clean. A Mr Clean Magic Eraser comes highly recommended. Mr Clean Magic Eraser is a godsend if you have leather shoes. It makes your shoes look as if they were just taken out of the box.

If you have a white sneaker, you should keep it clean because nothing is worse than a dirty white sneaker.

I like the gum sole as well, but having all white is more versatile than wearing the gum sole. These appear to be a touch more casual, and you wouldn’t be able to dress them up as much as the solid white.

If you despise white sneakers and say to yourself, “I’ll never wear a white sneaker,” you can opt for a different color. I would merely suggest that you go with a solid color. A solid brown, a solid black, a solid navy, and a solid gray are all solid colors.

If you’re not a fan of the white sneaker, try something like that. But, as I previously stated, stick to solids because they will provide you with more wear and versatility in the long term.

Athletic Shoe

The second item is an athletic shoe.

This is going to be somewhat dependent on the types of sports activities you engage in on a regular basis.

It’s critical to maintain track of what you’re doing at all times. If you spend a lot of time in the gym lifting weights and that’s what you usually do for a workout, I’d recommend a more flat shoe.

Many of the men I know wear Converse. Those aren’t my favorite looks, but I think they’ll work if you do the activities for them.

Unless you’re doing some sort of sports activity or doing errands, I wouldn’t recommend wearing an athletic shoe. Perhaps you’re dressed in joggers, a more relaxed and athleisure-like ensemble. I believe you can wear the athletic sneaker without being judged.

But I wouldn’t recommend wearing an athletic sneaker to a bar or on a date or anything like that.

Instead of the athletic footwear, I would choose the white sneaker or any other fashionable sneaker.

If you’re someone who frequently wears sweatpants or joggers, you can certainly get away with wearing athletic shoes with that ensemble.

Boots

A pair of boots is number three on my list.

A pair of leather lace-up boots is one of my all-time favorites.

On males, I adore a good pair of leather lace-up boots. These are, in my opinion, one of the most gorgeous things a man can wear.

I have a pair from Thursday Boots. These will get a little beat up over time, which is fine, especially if you live somewhere a little colder. The weather isn’t kind to our footwear.

The reason I like these so much is that they look amazing even when they’re a little messed up, and it just adds character and helps them stand out.

A pair of boots is just a superb middle ground between a sneaker and a dress shoe. They can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion.

The boot you choose will be somewhat determined by your unique style. If lace-up leather boots aren’t your thing, I’d suggest Chelsea boots or a chukka boot.

To be honest, I don’t like chukka boots. The leather ones are a little bit better for me than the suede ones.

It’s simply that there’s something about them that irritates me. I believe it’s because they’re quite popular among college students.

However, I adore a Chelsea boot. Some guys, I’m sure, are a little odd about these. I’m sure there are a lot of jokes and memes about males that wear Chelsea boots.

It’s a bit conventional to wear slim jeans with Chelsea boots. However, I believe that a quality pair of Chelsea boots might also look terrific. Even if I prefer the leather lace-ups. A Chelsea boot is still one of my favorites.

A pair of jeans, a button-up, a pair of jeans and a sweater, a pair of chinos with a sweater, or a button-up look terrific with boots. They’re quite adaptable, which is one of the reasons I adore them.

There is a boot out there for everyone, regardless of their unique style. Even if you don’t like leather lace-up boots, which are my personal favorite. That’s perfectly OK; there’ll be a boot out there that suits your taste.

Dress Shoes

A pair of dress shoes is the last item on my list.

If you ever find yourself in a situation where you need to dress up, dress shoes are a necessity.

If you’re ever going to a wedding, a funeral, a formal event, or anything else where you’ll need to dress up a little more than you would on a regular day, having a pair of dress shoes will be essential.

I despise it when I see a man dressed up in a nice suit and then notice his shoes are a pair of boat shoes.

If you’ve graduated from college, get rid of your boat shoes and replace them with a great pair of dress shoes.

Brown Oxford dress shoes are my particular favorite. These look absolutely amazing.

Because they are the most versatile, they are my favorites. They go with almost everything and aren’t only for suits. These look great with a pair of jeans and a button-up shirt, or with a pair of jeans and a blazer.

These are quite adaptable. I adore them because you can get a lot of usage out of them.

I adore a black dress shoe as much as I adore a brown dress shoe. They’re also extremely adaptable.

You can’t go wrong with either of these options. Both are excellent options.

Having a beautiful pair of dress shoes is an important wardrobe standard, regardless of what type or color you choose.

That is all I have for the four shoes all men need.

You could, of course, have a little more fun with your shoe selections.

This is primarily for someone who is constructing a capsule minimalist wardrobe and requires the fundamentals. These are the bare essentials you should have.

These ensure that you have a shoe to wear no matter what situation you find yourself in.
